VANCOMYCIN RESISTANT ENTEROCOCCUS SCREENING AGAR

Technical Data #1951a / 2013.06.15

Vancomycin Resistant Enterococcus Screening Agar is a selective medium used for the isolation of Enterococcus faecalis Vancomycin Resistant from highly contaminated specimens as stools. Sodium Azide and Vancomycin are the selective agents while the indicator TTC stains growth of Enterococcus faecalis Vancomycin Resistant bacteria as deep purplish red colonies.
