PRECAUTIONS
This medium is for IN VITRO diagnostic use only.

STORAGE
Store prepared media at 2-8 C protected from direct light. Bring prepared media to room temperature before inoculating. Color may be lighter at room temperature without effect on quality.

SIGN OF DETERIORATION
Media should not be used if the expiry date has passed, or if there are signs of contamination or deterioration.

PROCEDURE

  1. With a calibrated loop, inoculate the surface of the medium using 3-4 colonies from a Chocolate or selective plate. Stab the medium to a 5mm depth.
  2. Incubate aerobically at 35 C for 24-48 hours. Incubate an uninoculated tube as a Control. Positive result: dark pink color to yellow, means acidification of the medium. Control tubes: no change in color

QUALITY CONTROL

Expected results after 24 hrs incubation at 35C
