PRECAUTIONS
This medium is for IN VITRO diagnostic use only.


STORAGE
Store prepared media at 2-8° C protected from direct light.


SIGN OF DETERIORATION
Media should not be used if the expiry date has passed. Prepared media should not be used if there are signs of contamination, evaporation or discoloration.


PROCEDURE
Bring prepared medium at room temperature before inoculation.

  1. Inoculate the broth with an overnight growth on a tube containing lactose (TSI, Kligler)
  2. Inoculate 2 others tubes with positive and negative control.
  3. Incubate at 35° C for 1 hour. Incubate up to 24 hours if any yellow color appears.
  4. Results: positive: yellow; negative: unchanged.
